Hey you,
It’s me again with more photography fun.
I officially start class in one week. This week is very hectic because I have so many orientation meetings to go to even though everything is online. I had so many documents to sign for financial aid and just giving the school permission in general that I want to go to school. So much paperwork. No one wants to do paperwork. Yuck.
I also had to take a mandatory orientation course for first-time students. Basically, showing me how to access my classes, how the student portal works, and basic rules to follow so I can get my work in on time.
Here are some interesting facts. I have to use my camera in Manual. Photo size must be submitted 2000 long edge and the school gives students adobe portal to download. I have photoshop for one year after graduation. That sounds pretty good to me.
Anyway, I also found out that each school department has a blog for students. The photography department’s blog is ART U Lens and they let students submit to the blog. I plan to do that sometime in the future.
There is also a Facebook student group that people can request to join, AAHOO, where students can post and find each other in their area even though they are online. A great way to find study buddies and answer questions with just one post.
There is also so much more to the school and I’m so excited. I’m writing this through tired eyes at 12:16 A.M. EST as I think about all the meetings that I have to go to tomorrow. At least it’s just tomorrow and 8/31 then I start class.
I really should go to bed.
Here is a picture of candy-colored houses I took to make you smile.
Yours truly,
Rosa de Saron C.
