The art of visual storytelling takes me out into the field where I can write a story with my lens. I can capture a visual in a single snapshot and encapsulate it forever creating memories that last a lifetime.
With mirrorless cameras taking precedence over DSLR cameras, I find that my first camera was very special to me. I chose it for its image quality and the room it would give me to learn and grow on it as I discovered the manual mode. I know that not everyone agrees with choosing a DSLR for their first camera and I have to admit, that I have flirted with the idea of mirrorless digital cameras. But there is something about my first camera that makes me happy.
My Nikon D5600 does everything I need it to. Technically, it allows me to maneuver the manual mode to adjust shutter speed, aperture, and ISO seamlessly. It has great image quality and focus. My pictures come out crisp and I always get compliments on my photographs from friends, family, and Instagram followers.
It’s a smaller DSLR so it fits comfortably in my travel bag and I have taken it several places with me to document my trips. I wish it had better stabilization but there is nothing that won’t improve that with a small tripod at hand.
I can’t say anything bad about the Nikon 5600. The internet says its a great beginner to intermediate camera and it has lived up to its claims. If I could choose it all over again I would. I feel I have already done so much on it.
