As the seasons change, the same scene transforms into a new setting for the subjects of the town. While at a glance, you think you have already photographed everything you can in your hometown, you would be amazed what going out on a photo walk daily with your camera can do to help you find details in a familiar spot that you may not have noticed before.
Summer is coming to an end, and autumn leaves are turning red and orange as they fall from the branches and twigs of the trees in my neighborhood. I never lose my childlike demeanor by missing out on crunching brown leaves underneath my sandals that release a satisfying crunch as my feet stride along the familiar pavement. Who says you’re too old to act young? Enjoy the days of your youth while you can since old age is but a number and we are all responsible for our personal happiness. So be kind to yourself by enjoying the small pleasures in life even if others make fun of you for it. Who cares? :)
Below, I have included a recent set of photos I have taken on a photo walk in my community. It was a great way to clear my head between class assignments for my MFA and I find that getting out from behind a stuffy desk to get a breath of fresh air and some sunny vitamin D can help boost my spirits and focus on my tasks again.
